How much Nutella?

 

Rishikesh es la puerta de entrada al Himalaya. A pesar de situarse a poco mas de 400 metros sobre el nivel del mar, aqui ya se empieza a notar la grandeza de la inmensa cordillera que tengo a un centenar de kilometros. El atractivo de esta pequenya ciudad es el yoga, los puentes colgantes sobre el Ganges y, como no, los templos (el mas espectacular es el Shri Trayanbakshwar por sus 13 pisos y colorido) y las escalinatas situadas en sus orillas donde los indi@s se banyan y lavan la ropa.

 

Llevo ya tres dias aqui y mi unica preocupacion ha sido la de ir a la clase de yoga de las 7:30. Por el momento, no lo he conseguido... pues el par de chiringos con buen que visitamos cada noche, donde los israelitas son la gran mayoria, tienen buena parte de culpa. Por suerte, hay otra clase a las 16:30 para tod@s aquell@s que no quieren o consiguen madrugar.

Ahora ya puedo decir que me he banyado en el agua del Ganges... aunque no lo hice en el mismo rio sino en uno de los muchos riachuelos con grandes cataratas que llegan a el.

Por el momento cada dia llueve y cuando lo hace es con fuerza. Si desde el cielo empiezan a caer un par de gotas hay que interpretarlo com el aviso de un pequenyo diluvio universal de al menos 40 minutos. Por el contrario cuando luce el sol el termometro que me acompanya supera con gran facilidad los treinta grados que junto a una ligera brisa hacen hicieron un secado rapido a mi segunda colada en suelo indiano.

 

Manyana partire en direccion a Gangotri donde nace el Ganga (Ganges) Segun leo en la guia seran unas interminables 12h de autobus. La intención será parar un dia en Uttarkashi. Acabo de mirar que para 155km tardare 7h… y me da una media de algo mas de… 20 km/h?.

A Olga la volvere a ver en el valle de Katmandu ya en Nepal, a bien seguro volveremos a pasar unos dias mas que estupendos.

Sinopsis: Si alguna vez viajas por la India y necesitas un respiro… Rishinkesh tiene la atmosfera perfecta.
