...these berries will remain 'ripe for plucking' until it's a bit colder; then the birds (cedar waxwings?) come and within two days have both trees stripped bare....I've seen the results, not the actual feasting.
Today has packed a Fall punch, not a short sleeve t-shirt day....
...maybe the same for some of you, for others you are experiencing glorious Spring budding!

My favorite wild plum tree, on the north bank of River Loire, near Angers, welcoming Summer. The first flowers bloomed in mid-February. 4 months later, the first ripe fruits are beginning to be popular with amateurs.
That is the state I am in these days

These ribes are nice bushes I have in my garden, they are now getting full of ribes, slowly getting red and ready to be eaten
Omnom
Lovely to eat straight from the bush
Or add some milk or cream and a hint of brown sugar
Have a lovely Saturday
Shore treasure hunting conjures up glamour, excitement and riches ripe for the discovery. The reality, however, is often different: The small industry of real-life hunters live a dream that comes with its own share of heartache and disappointment

Some of our autumn season rough-leaf dogwood berries... the birds will enjoy these in coming months...
Sumac berries are a treat of Downy Woodpeckers. They can also be used to make a herbal tea.

So many background distractions in the kitchen! This was shot using natural light from the north window, white paper to reflect light back onto the tomatoes and pasta. I had to tone down the white bokeh. I warmed the colors a bit in post and added a little vignette. Oh, and Steve stood just out of the frame to the right holding a white towel to hide the cupboard drawer lines. Thank you, dear! : )

I found this cluster of tiny berries on a bush near my home. Unfortunately, I don't know what type of berries they are.
Background texture from Topaz Studio 2.
Thank you for your visit and comment, it's greatly appreciated. Have a wonderful day!
Making sumac tea
Pick several clusters of berries for use. ...
Soak the berry clusters in a pitcher of cold water over night or longer to enhance the flavor. ...
Next, strain the tea through a coffee filter or cheese cloth to remove the berries and particles from the fruit so all you are left with is the tea.
Enjoy!
