Grandpa Pete passed away last night at 2am...two hours into his 90th birthday! Rest in Peace, Grandpa Pete. We love you.
I have to start off by saying that the lovely 50 and I have a very complicated relationship. Some days, I adore it. Others, I could scream with fury over my futile efforts. Today - with only a handful of shots - I was mixed.
I haven't photographed Rip in awhile, he was long overdue for some camera love.

Best story of all time, even better than that bible book and this was written by a single brilliant mind. No god could create such a fine human being.
Carved into the clock face is:
Nothing Lives for Ever
Neither Body
Nor
Solid Rock
RIP
Restless In Perpetuity

Richard Caswell Gatlin - A soldier in the Seminole War, Wounded at Monterey and fought in the Mormon Rebellion.....Born in North Carolina.....He joined the Confederate Cause and was placed in command of the North Carolina coastal defense as a Brigadier General......
As the Union captured the coastal areas pretty much uncontested early in the war...Gatlin was forced to resign......Ending his long military career on a sour note......
taken over calgary - near canmore, cochrane, bankhead, banff, airdrie, innisfail, invermere, etc. and a host of other scot-named alberta towns - and not actually in scotland, but a fitting eulogy for the glasgow-based no-frills flyer that went bankrupt this year. we flewglobespan in 2008 for our europa roots tour. the quarters were tight, but the service was friendly and the experience good. hope this ain't a harbinger of the death of cheap travel options...
Our friend Mama T (Mama Tabby) she is the mother of our Niobe and has been living outside of our apartment for the year we've lived here. Every morning she is lying in her little house we made her waiting for some food and water before we go to work.
This evening someone hit her, then threw her lifeless body on the grass in front of our apartment. I heard the breaks squeal but did not know why. She was about to give birth to another litter, she was probably a week away.
Tonight we got home from work I tried for the millionth time to pet her just touching the tip of her tail and maybe a piece of fur on her side, she always sides stepped away from me. )c: I know she was so close to coming in our house and living safely.
