My neighborhood streets are riddled with holes. This particular one is at the intersection of South and West Boulevards. Actually, I guess that isn't technically in my neighborhood ... it's part of Boulevard Oaks, where the former Governor of Texas lives.

If current theories are correct, Khufu's pyramid was on the Giza plateau first. Khafre's pyramid (not pictured) was being built when this large stone was unearthed. What to do with this large unsightly rock? How about decorate it? The face is believed to be the face of Khafre.
