Rotating out from Manchetser Ringway airport bound for Orlando in the USA is this Virgin Atlantic Boeing 747 Jumbo. This particular aircraft is named "Ruby Tuesday" and is one of a handful of the 747-400 aircraft still operated by Virgin.

The more I Iook at his face, the freakier it gets.

Landing on the 27 right threshold at London Heathrow is the now rare spectacle of the Virgin Atlantic Boeing 747-400 "Barbarella". These airframes have not operated out of Heathrow for a few years now and are sadly retired throughout the Virgin fleet.

This particular airframe although still in Virgin livery is arriving to go into maintenance which has been arranged by the new owners of the aircraft.

This is a potential spoof advert based on Richard Branson's desire to be the first to fly fare passengers to the moon, though I dont think he is planning on using one of these (Boeing 747-400).

Virgin Galactic's SpaceShip2 under rocket power, its first ever since the program began in 2005. The spacecraft was dropped from its "mothership", WhiteKnight2 over the Mojave, CA area, April 29, 2013 at high altitude before firing its t hybrid power motor. Virgin Galactic hopes to become the first commercial space venture to bring multiple passengers into space on a regular basis. This photo was taken from a remote camera located at top of the ships' tail.

Mojave Air and Space Port. This 3,300-acre facility in the town of Mojave, is home to more than 60 space tech companies, including Richard Branson's Virgin Galactic.
