I mean, I knew the broiler was down there but I didn't really *get* why I should use it. Tonight, I saw the light, or perhaps the charred, crackly delicious marinade. Heating from the top, not the bottom ... what a concept.

Chady Simpson is assisted by volunteer Kathy Riblet at the Coat Extravaganza at New Life United Methodist Church on 5th Avenue Wednesday morning. The church provides free clothing to over 2,500 people every month, and gives away over 600 coats in one day at the annual Extravaganza.

Guillow SE5a. Frame before finishing. Scale ribs and riblets added based on my photos take at the RAF museum. Tail members framed with bent balsa strips. Home made fiberglass cowl needed because of the 1/32" added sheet. The accurate planform makes the effort worthwhile. Thanks Guillow

My mom on June 19th at 87 had quadruple bypass heart surgery, and a little over a month look at her now! (photograph taken by Charlotte Cravotta, thank you!)
I first had these vegetarian BBQ "riblets" at a very accommodating bed & breakfast resort where the staff was nice enough to put up with my quirky eating habits (Pence Springs!)
Anywhoo, I had never seen them for sale until a few weeks ago, so I bought some.
I made them tonight, there's no food in the house!
ANYWHOO.
Having never had an actual riblet made out of pig, I can't tell you if these taste like a pig. However, I can tell you they taste very good, and some of my more carnivorous friends have tried them and said that they do indeed taste like Porky.
