Dezeen has put together a list of the best installations of 2015, taking in some striking and ambitious sculptures.
Our favourites from the list include:
Heartbeat by Charles Pétillon
A stunning installation in Covent Garden, Heartbeat consisted of 100,000 glowing white balloons covering the ceiling of the Market Building - an incredible contrast to the 19th Century architecture.
The Brutalist Playground by Assemble
The Turner Prize-winning collective recreated the concrete playgrounds of post-war Britain inside RIBA, providing an immersive experience - made of foam.
Endgrain by Raw Edges
Raw Edge’s delicate installation created the illusion of furniture growing from the floors of Chatsworth House, using coloured dyes to create geometric patterns.
See the other installations here and let us know which one is your favourite.

This shot was taken on a workshop run by the Royal Institute of British Architects in October at the Barbican in London and led by Andy Day, a photographer who specialises in parkour, or free running.
This shot was picked by Andy and Justine Sambrook, the curator of the Robert Elwall Photographic Collection at the British Architectural Libray, as a winner among the photographs taken that day by the people who attended the workshop.
