On Saturday we made our way down toward Kingscourt and the enchanting Dún na RÍ Forest Park. The 565 acre forest park is just outside Kingscourt along the banks of the River Cabra - A magical place to visit.

In September of 1979 a month old Rock Island boxcar with a build date of 8-79 sits in the Santa Fe yard at Galesburg Illinois. The BRAC was on strike and end of the Rock was just three months away. Ironically painted bankrupt blue! Copyright © Revenge Photography. All Rights Reserved.

The library was the centerpiece of life for Cornelius Vanderbilt, who was well-read. The walls are paneled with walnut from Europe and stamped with gold. The ceiling is coffered with more gold leaf. The fireplace was acquired from a 16th century French chateau. The walls in the library are covered with wainscoting of walnut decorated with low relief carving and gold leaf; the walls above the woodwork are covered with panels of gold-embossed Spanish leather.
