This is the pixel aray of my tablet I use as a light source. I shot this through the optics of a Wild Microscope.
Surprisingly, this was the most difficult of my shots for this week's theme. Getting the lighting right and arranging the glasses took a lot of tweaking. Also, the blue food coloring leaked and my hands are still blue. 😄
CC Week 48: Creative Tabletop
For a period this Fall, the color here in New Hampshire was intense.... Although it may look as if I boosted the saturation of some channels, not so.

A red boat at Kanali area in Preveza Greece was quite eye catching and made me stop to take some shots.

Ο ωραιότερος κοιμητηριακός ναός,εξ όσων έχω δεί τουλάχιστον,είναι αναμφιβόλως ο Ιερός Ναός προς τιμήν του Αγίου Γεωργίου στο χωριό Γλίνος, ο οποίος,σύμφωνα με εντοιχισμένη κτητορική επιγραφή, ανηγέρθη το 1818 στη θέση Παλιοκόπρια, όπου βρισκόταν αρχικά το χωριό ως ενοριακός,τότε,ναός.
Σχετικά προσφάτως ολοκληρώθηκαν οι εργασίες υποστήλωσης,εξωραϊσμού και διαμόρφωσης του περιβάλλοντος χώρου με πλήρη σεβασμό προς την αρχιτεκτονική φυσιογνωμία του ώστε το μεταβυζαντινό μνημείο,όπως έχει χαρακτηρισθεί από το Υπουργείο Πολιτισμού,να κληροδοτηθεί στις επόμενες γενεές εδραίο και περικαλλέστερο.
The most beautiful cemetery, to my knowledge, is undoubtedly the Holy Church in honor of St. George in the village of Glinos, which, according to a built-in inscription, was erected in 1818 at the site of Paliokopria, where the village was originally then.
Recently completed work of restoration, landscaping and configuration of the surrounding area in full respect of the architectural character of the post-Byzantine monument,as designated by the Ministry of Culture, to be bequeathed to future generations well-established and more beautiful.

Shot on November 11, 2025. The aurora event was strong enough to be seen in the Southwest U.S.
Star trails were 11 shots at 240 seconds, 14mm, f5.6, ISO 800 then blended in Photoshop.
Night in Vers, such a beautiful place but only one night to have fun ;) !

Das Hallenhaus auf der de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halde_Norddeutschland, fotografiert aus ca. 1,3 km Entfernung. Man sieht es beim Reinzoomen, die Schlieren sind nicht durch Objektiv oder Kamera entstanden, sondern unvermeidlich bei so viel Luft zwischen Kamera und Objekt...
Aktuell befindet sich am Hallenhaus die Installation "Windzeichnung" von Danuta Karsten, das sind die roten Stoffbahnen, die den "R" Teil des Bildes ausmachen.

The "Hallenhaus" on de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halde_Norddeutschland photographed from a distance of approx. 1.3 km. You can see it when you zoom in; the haze is not caused by the lens or camera, but is unavoidable with so much air between the camera and the object...
Currently, Danuta Karsten's installation ‘Windzeichnung’ (Wind Drawing) is on display at the Hallenhaus. These are the red fabric sheets that make up the ‘R’ part of the image.
