We have been looking after the step kids two dogs. It has been a bit of a hardship. This one, Rex, has such a need for attention. Always hogging the petting hand. I do love his golden eyes.

When walking a trail in the High-Laurentians of Québec, we came across this master piece of nature that looks like a sitting T-Rex. As they say, nature always find its way.

En parcourant un sentier dans les Hautes-Laurentides du Québec, nous sommes tombés sur ce chef-d'œuvre de la nature qui ressemble à un T-Rex assis. Comme on dit, la nature trouve toujours son chemin.

T. Rex were an English rock band, formed in 1967 by singer-songwriter and guitarist Marc Bolan. The band was initially called Tyrannosaurus Rex, and released four psychedelic folk albums under this name. In 1969, Bolan began to change the band's style towards electric rock, and shortened their name to T. Rex the following year. This development culminated in 1970 with the song "Ride a White Swan", and the group soon became pioneers of the glam rock movement.
HSoS!
Rex at the back door one raining day. Trying to let him dry off a bit before he entered. Rex and his sister Cali are no longer staying with us. Back staying with his owner. Rex was such an attention grabber. Always in need of human touch.

The cutest puppy I have seen in a long time. He is scared of people so we have slowly been befriending him. Sadly I haven't seen him in our walks recently so hoping I will encounter him again soon!

Shame it was such a cloudy day. This is Rex Lookout on the highway from Cairns to Mossman/Port Douglas/Daintree and all points north. This shot looks south and you can see that the road has hugged the coast throughout this scene, which shows the two World Heritage areas again, Wet Tropics and Great Barrier Reef where they meet.

I almost always take my camera with me. You never know what you are going to see, even on a boring dog walk down by Castle Tioram.
It was Effie who saw them first, and stopped very abruptly, carefully trying to weigh up the threat ahead of her. I stopped to look too, trying to fathom what I was seeing. Surely not????!!! Two monsters! Or more accurately, two inflateable T-Rexs chasing each other through the bracken and gorse on the tidal island that the historic castle stands upon. Ummm! Effie was ready to turn tail and flee, but I went forward guessing these Nessies might be nothing less than eccentric Frenchmen in disguise. Can you spot them on the right?
Rex lives! Season 2 of Star Wars Rebels has recently started, so I thought I would make this photo. :D
Green-Wood Cemetery
Near the grave of John E Stow is a bronze monument to what is believed to be his dog Rex. Whether Rex is buried there or not is a mystery, when Stow died pets were allowed to be buried in the cemetery. Stow was born in England in 1817 and died on December 21, 1884 in Brooklyn. His fruit store was located at 90 South Street in Manhattan and was in the same location for over 40 years.
