Pattern by Keyka Lou. Really quick and easy to make. The only change I made was to add a flap to keep the bags folded when not in use.
The first engine to be recovered and reused for a second launch, the solid-fuel Boostertron II, now has its own place in our Rocket Garden on the main lawn of KSC
My inlaws also sent us this black laquer cigarette box - which since we don't smoke has been reborn into a cool sewing box to sit in the living room. I love how I can put beads in the place where a lighter used to go.

Reusable Fabric Grocery Bags. Just like the plastic bags. They fold and zip up into an attached pocket.
The internet is abuzz this time of year with all kinds of fun holiday crafts. In this video we'll be making some reusable chalk board tags and some cute little tags made from scrabble tiles. Throughout the rest of the month we'll be doing all kinds of other crafts so check back to see what we're up to.
instead of just tossing unwanted paper in my office, I've decided to find creative ways to reuse it. PLEASE RECYCLE and REUSE!
A week's worth of groceries for a family of four ... all packed nicely into six bags. Our grocery store has started a new program that lets you scan your groceries as you go, and pack your bags while shopping. When you check out, you scan one last "check out" barcode, and make your payment. We haven't decided if it is more efficient to shop this way, as opposed to bagging all at the end, but it does help you keep your groceries segregated by type: refrigerated in one bag, frozen in another, fresh in another, non-grocery in another. And the little kid in me loves playing with the scanner. :-)
When a an artist paints their work on an unused, abandoned wall, the posibilities for that exact space to be seen in a different way offers new energy interactions with those who pass by in an artistic & positive way..the choice to reuse offers the space a position of usefulness within urban society & to be useful in a new and creative way is something abandoned and reusable surfaces can benefit from globally...those areas commonly seen as avioded and neglegted space take new life and offer unique soulful nourishment to the average adventurer...all it took was the inspiration & fore-thought of reuse..

Tate Modern reuses a former power station, and its brutal architecture and materials match the modern art it showcases. This is the former turbine hall, now used for larger works.
I made these reusable shopping bags as Christmas gifts for friends using Oh, Fransson's "Paper or Plastic" pattern. Sturdy, washable, with gussets providing a square bottom when filled. Prettier and more eco-friendly than a plastic grocery bag.

Reusing old postcards by adding stickers of current work.
Cheaper this way and adds an opportunity to talk about previous commissions and sales and shows and other skills when handing out.
Preserved heritage bays at the plaza entrance to the building.
The locomotive on static display is 1083, an X10 class crane locomotive used in workshops and depots until well after regular steam locos were withdrawn.
Former Brighton District #9 one-room schoolhouse, built in 1906. It closed as a school in 1939 and was left vacant for 10 years. Its first homeowners found the desks still nailed to the floor and the potbellied stove in the rear of the building. The bell tower remains a charming reminder of this building’s original use. I was shocked to find that the jumper cables I had collected
from various yard sales had the same amount of copper as a 12 gauge
cable. The thick rubber coating had tricked me into thinking that
these cables might be more like a #6 or #8 gauge battery cable.
Whatever...I hacked up some jumpers so that I could trickle charge and
desulfate a bunch of heavy duty batteries in parallel.

Wonderful DIY Reusing Girl’s Clothes Last
It starts when you announce your pregnancy; friends and family just can’t resist giving you all sorts of baby clothing. From hats …
The brushes have been reused more times than we can count. Painting inside / painting outside. Just this week, I painted around the blocks of the house. Yeah, they are no longer green, but a beige as seen on this paint shield. The siding, roof, and windows are done. I picked up a few leftover nails and staples, such as this one, along the way...better than running over them with the mower or stepping on them.
Okay, so I was rusty when I first started painting these blocks around the house. Naturally, I started with the section that would be most viewed by drivers and walkers. On the third day, I was no longer rusty. I slopped the paint up on the blocks and what landed in the flower beds...so be it! I was covered with paint. I still am. My hubby is almost embarassed to go to town with me. I just can't see all the paint splotches that I am wearing on my skin! And you know what? The paint looks shinier on the blocks than it does on my arms, legs, and toes!!! Gosh, I am glad the job is done. Farewell to all the spider friends that followed me on the journey around the outside of our home! I'm done with this task and on to the rest of my summer "to do" list!
Voila! Here it is!
