G-EZNM, Awaiting its fate during the recycling process at Kemble. Much of the aircraft has already been repurposed and reused as spares.

Airbus A319 was G-EZNM on 01/03/2005 until 01/22/2010 becoming HB-JZU with Easyjet Switzerland before rejoining the UK fleet on 03/09/2016. Retired and stored 10/2021 at Kemble to be scrapped.

At the end of an airliners lifecycle they dont just get left to rot.

All reuseable parts are either removed for reuse in other airliners, or rempved and repurposed in a multitude of ways, then the remainer is recycled in an envirenmentally manner, nothing escapes the process.

Whenever we go grocery shopping, I find that I look at the packaging our food comes in as a possible photographic subject. One afternoon my husband came home with a large bag of tangerines. I enjoy that fruit, yet the bag holding the orange orbs made me especially happy.

My wonderful SIL created gift bags this year and mailed them early with requests to “open” them!! They are sewn from quilt squares and the back side is red felt— isn’t she clever? The next picture in the photostream shows some of the things that were in the bag!

Captain Davie described the configuration of the great banking room. "Before conversion, three sets of four teller stations were placed between the square pillars on the right side. Each station included the main parts of classical architecture in reduced size, the horizontal entablature resting on the two vertical columns and consisting of cornice, frieze, and architrave. Strong structures supported a bronze hinged wicket at each of the 16 positions. Some of these groupings have been rearranged to accommodate hotel design requirements."

Although the use of the San Diego Trust & Savings Bank building changed ten years ago, from a bank and offices to a hotel with 245 guest rooms, the original features of the structure remain remarkably intact. The Courtyard-Marriott Hotel, located in the heart of a vibrant downtown San Diego, is a spectacular example of successful readapted use. The hotel stands proud in the bank's place, as the sentinel of an important piece of San Diego history.

Alderlea, meaning meadow of Alder trees, was constructed circa 1867 for Kenneth Chisholm, businessman, political figure and son-in-law of John Elliott, a founding father of Brampton.

Designed as an Italianate villa, Alderlea is one of Ontario’s finest examples of this architectural style. The original grandeur of the estate included a large front lawn and garden, which is now Gage Park, Brampton’s first municipal park.

Following the economic depression of the 1890s, the grounds of Alderlea and the adjacent Elliott estate were put up for sale. In 1944, the Royal Canadian Legion purchased Alderlea, which they expanded in 1947 with a two-storey addition called “Memorial Hall” to accommodate soldiers returning home from service in World War II. The City of Brampton purchased Alderlea as part of its sesquicentennial. The rejuvenation began in 2010, and involved selective demolition, heritage restoration, adaptive reuse, and a complementary

Located in the heart of Downtown Brampton, Alderlea is an iconic heritage building perfect for weddings, social gatherings and corporate events. 230

Herkimer County Historical Society is located in the 1884 Suiter Building, a historic home in Herkimer, Herkimer County, New York. It is a 2 1⁄2-story, wood frame structure with red pressed brick walls laid in black mortar built in 1884. It features a complex pitched roof of slate with a brick corbelled cornice and terra cotta ornament along the roof edge. There is also an octagonal peaked roof above the corner tower. Built originally as a private home, it was unfinished at the time of its builders death in 1925 and given to the Herkimer County Historical Society who occupied it in 1935.[2]

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972

Colliergate is a street in the city centre of York, in England.

The area occupied by the street lay outside the Roman city walls, but fell within the Canabae of Eboracum, a residential and industrial area.[1] It is believed that, during the Viking, Jorvik, period, the street formed the eastern side of a lengthy open area. The name of the street first appeared in 1303, arising from the charcoal merchants in the area. A statue of Ebraucus, the legendary founder of the city, stood where the street meets St Saviourgate; this may have been a reused Roman statue

The pretty little village of Wiveton is situated in the north of Norfolk, southwest of Cley-next-the-Sea. The parish has a long history and was established by the time of the Norman Conquest. It is detailed in the Domesday Book of 1086. As is the case with so many English villages the church is now the oldest building remaining.

The Church of St Mary has a 14th century tower and chancel, but pieces of reused stonework suggest an earlier church existed. The nave, aisles and porches date to the mid to late 15th century, and further restorations were carried out during the 17th to 19th centuries.

The Drake Hotel, a historic 375-foot-tall, 33-story luxury hotel located at 1512-1514 Spruce Street at the corner of S. Hicks Street between S. 15th and S. 16th Street in the Rittenhouse Square neighborhood of Philadelphia, was built in 1928-29 and was designed by the architectural firm of Ritter and Shay in the Art Deco style with Spanish Baroque terra cotta ornamentation on themes surrounding Sir Francis Drake, including "dolphins, shells, sailing vessels and globes." The building is topped by a terra cotta dome.

The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on September 18, 1978. It was added to the Philadelphia Register of Historic Places on October 6, 1977.[2] In 1998, the building was extensively renovated and converted to condominiums as "The Drake".

My sweet little fairy handmade the light she’s holding using an acorn cap that she found on the ground outside. Recycled nature. :-) Inside the acorn cap is a small LED light.

Everyday I remove the card from my camera and dump the photos on my computer, then put the card back into the camera for next day. So far just once did I pull out the camera to get the red flash of no card. The reusable card is also on my faux Autumn leaf that gets used each year for accent on mantel.
