This is from a while ago.
I just realized that I haven't done a cloned picture in a while.
And I love clones :)
This weekend started out so bad
and ended so good.
I'll spare you the bad part, but
Katherine just got her license!! So the good part is we went driving around at night Saturday, got Taco Bell, and then on Sunday we all went out to Sushi.
Liz is home from Greece and David is back from England.
And Dimitar comes back from Quebec on Tuesday.
So summer is finally getting really good :D

Seen at the Rosefest parade today...it was a large marching band, and I had to wonder where the girls found enough polka-dot fabric to sew retro uniforms for everyone.
Up in the mountains of Gunma prefecture about 3 1/2 hours from Tokyo is Minakami, a mountain onsen and ski town served by JR's Joetsu Main Line. A few times a month, the town is served by JR East's "Joyful Train", the SL Retro Gunma Minakami. Here as evening sets in, JR C61 class #20 exits Minakami and the Joetsu Mountain Range with a short 6 car train of retro coaches bound for Takasaki.

I recently made a pit stop by the City of San Antonio Texas where I found this great alley that got me all excited. I was walking around with my Leica M10 monochrome late one evening when this scene presented itself. The vehicle was spectacular and just created the retro feel that I was looking for. Enjoy !

A steam locomotive is passing through Badacsony at the event 'retro-weekend' in Hungary.
The best known steam loco of the MÁV haven’t only got the nicknames „Nurmi” and „Buffalo” due to its power, but also the respect and love of railway workers – and even the man of the street. Some of the engines, built in three and a half decades since 1924 stranded on the network of North Korea or hauling the presidential trains of Yugoslavia. First and last loco of the class is preserved in the Budapest Railway Museum, another two are hauling heritage trains – and one of them took part at this event for the first time! In august, it is expected that 424 009 will be another participant..
