Close to the village of AbiquiĂº in Rio Arriba County in north central New Mexico, United States, Ghost Ranch was the home and studio of Georgia O'Keeffe, as well as the subject of many of her paintings.
Ghost Ranch is also known for a remarkable concentration of fossils, most notably that of the theropod dinosaur Coelophysis.

Abandoned entrance to an old castle in the woods near Oregon,IL.The castle was built in the late '20s as a private residence and was sold to the Presbyterian Church which now uses it as a retreat center,by also holds a popular Olde English Faire every October.The castle's location on the bluffs above the Rock River makes for some great river views as well nature walks.
The castle was modeled after the Hearst Castle in California.The builder,Walter Strong,was a media tycoon with the Chicago Tribune.He did much of the designing and work himself.Sadly he only lived in the castle 2 years before dying...
By the way,there is another entrance to the castle down the road,however,it shows a lot less atmosphere....
From this angle, it looks way bigger than it is. I spent a LOT of time sitting on that little folding chair.

From my trip to Mexico in 2011, this is the view across the center of the yoga retreat center where we stayed for a week on the ocean. We enjoyed the spa, pool and the amazing food prepared at this beautiful place.
