With former 'restraints' gone, a full indulgence of colour and form with this theme - the uncontrolled and undisciplined mind on overdrive. It's rich and fascinating, with worlds within worlds to explore, it's fractal variations spiralling out into eternity, but without the calm centre, the realm of unrestricted cogitation is a bewitching stream that leads to nowhere but more of itself.

Headed down to Benacre at the crack of dawn this morning to show www.richardthomas.photography the sights, and we were rewarded with some pretty stunning conditions.
Merida has been detached from Angus and the plastic spacer. The outer packaging restraints have been removed, but there is still more restraints under her dress, around her legs.
Deboxing the Angus and Merida dolls. Angus and Merida have been removed from the diorama (cardboard backing).
My first look at the 2 piece Brave Angus and Merida Doll Set. It was released by the Disney Store on Monday May 14, 2012 online and in stores, along with many other Brave merchandise. It's cost is $39.50 US.
The set consists of the Princess Merida, who is a fully poseable 11.5'' doll in her blue formal dress, carrying a bow and arrow, and her faithful companion Angus, a 12.5'' tall black plush horse doll. Angus is 13.5'' to the top of his ears and is 15'' long. He has white hair on his nose and hooves, and neighs for a few seconds when his nose is pressed.
First I photographed the set in the unopened box. Then with the dolls taken out of the box, but still attached to the inner cardboard backing, which slides out of the box like a tray. Finally, the dolls were fully deboxed, and posed separately and together.

For a feline, Ollie shows tremendous restraint when it comes to my collections. A kitten would have those shelves cleared in a trice. The mood to poke around in my stuff strikes Ollie only about once a month.
Here, Ollie raises his right paw as he contemplates a strike on the shell fragment he has selected. It's light enough to fly when tapped but sufficiently solid to make a satisfying thunk when it hits the carpet.
Ollie's ambitions pale in comparison with the late Dot's. She was obsessed with the long red horse hair that forms the beard of the old Bolivian dance mask on the upper right. www.youtube.com/watch?v=j_qbw1nzIoA
Dot tried her best to get close enough to chew it, but I was able to place it beyond her reach.
Freeing yourself from restraints, allow yourself to fall into the madness and see where the path leads you.

I took a number of shots of a wet feather, blowing around quite rapidly, caught on a web. Expecting most to be rubbish, which they were, one or two survived and found themselves in Photoshop for some extra work
