After more than 21 hours in a ferry from Italy, taking a nap in a desert Greek beach is more than deserved.
This is in Diakofto, Greece. Highly recommended.
A time to think on the way home in the car, with the her son asleep next to her she finally gets rest.
I don't get a chance to get close to Carolina Saddlebags often. It seems they rarely perch. This one let me get quite close. It was a breezy day so might be it just wanted a rest from the wind.

Within the era of scientifically accepted 'we are the cause of climate change and global warming' and its inevitable consequences, can we afford new and further exploitation of fossil fuels?

Currently Wales and the UK are awash with a tied of new fossil fuel exploitation, shale gas, coal bed methane and new open cast coal mines. So often cited as bridging too renewables, or replacing imported fossil fuels.

All of this new fossil fuel development will bridge to renewables, pay for it, not distract from it? Does our governance seem like they are leading the way to mitigating climate change, are we a shinning example to other countries to follow suit?
Doesn't a global bullet need to be bitten within a short time scale, or is the bullet simply being deflecting for future generations to deal with, and its real impact?

An experimental image. Rest Thou Blessed. Pictorial photography is fun. While driving on the Highway I saw this graveyard. I continued with the smoke effect, altered the perspective(14mm wide angle) and solarised the image to present a glimpse of the nether world.
This graveyard reminded me of the departed souls and I imagined them hanging around in the form of smoke perhaps(?), how will they perceive the scene? - with their otherworldly perception!
I chose a low angle, altered the perspective.... and this is the result.
