Location: The river Prüm in Irrel in the South Eifel near the Luxembourg border and not far from my home.

Looking for new perspectives today I found this place, where you stand in the water. There I hear then only the sound of water, a true meditation.

The Laohuzui terraced landscape is the steepest, most spectacular and magnificent terraced landscape in chinese province Yunnan.

Here I show one of the many possible variants from a photographic point of view to present this exceptional landscape in the afternoon light.

The managers of this Chinese World Heritage Site have built superb viewing platforms above the rice terraces. One has the impression of floating above the landscape and does not need a drone here.

...you just want to hold on.

In the morning in the Wittlich valley, as so often a mix of fog, clouds, sun, a single bird, looking after what's there, the smells and voices of the early day...

...möchte man einfach festhalten.

Tittle : When I see Raymond Depardon (*)...

* Raymond Depardon is famous French photographer.

When I took this picture, the owner told me to keep my fingers away from the beak. They have very powerful beaks that can generate a pressure of 500 up to 2,000+ psi (pounds per square inch). Humans, for example, average a bite force of around 150 psi.

This image was captured at Parrot In Paradise, a parrot rescue, rehabilitation, education and adoption center. We were fortunate enough to stay on the property during our travels on the Big Island of Hawaii. . Being invited into the aviaries with these gorgeous birds was exciting. I was new to using a macro lens and found myself moving closer and closer to the birds. Before leaving I offered many of my photographs to the owners and throughout the years, those images have been used on their website. What golden memories!

I will definitely never question this dude about that

The proof is right there

Hanging in the open for everybody to see

Some of us needs to show off

And some of us knows what we are, who we are - and don't need to show to the whole world that we have balls

I bet those who needs to tell the whole world that they have balls, don't really have them......

I'm cursing in the church now, yes

But it's only my belief

If you respect yourself and love yourself, then you have the balls to stand up for yourself too

Best balls ever

Poor bird, lol - he is a victim of my words

I was slightly inconvenienced one day last week because of some of the restrictions we deal with and than I realized how selfish my thoughts were while reading an article about the nurses and the doctors in the front lines. Many of them are getting infected, some paying with their life, some getting better and rushing back to continue to help people like me and you. Here is a bit of color for these wonderful human beings along with my deepest respect.

... Women of the World ...

Thai people have always been known to have great respect for old values such as the proper ways a woman should act. The prim and proper ways of a true lady who stays at home spending all her time taking care of children, cook wonderful meals and can make the most marvelous flower creations. These values make Thai women, especially in the area where education is less important than everyday survival, underestimate themselves. We are stronger and we have more impact on society, more than we thought we had. Our opinions matter too and we definitely know more than just the best deals at the supermarket.

It's true that we can't change society and its values overnight but what we can do is to start within ourselves, build confidence within us through knowledge and be the best version of ourselves that we know we could be.

This thunderstorm was becoming more defined as it strengthened.

National Weather Service had a severe warning on this cell as it was slowly moving to the east northeast. As we were east of Minden Nebraska and were finally able to pull out ahead of this cell.

We paused for a few minutes to absorb the moment!

A bluebell flower taken with the Fuji X-E3, a 16mm macro extension tube and the 7Artisans lens at F16. I used various approaches to editing, among them Silver Efex Pro 3. What this helps to visualise is that this tiny and much loved flower is actually a potent power house when it comes to procreation and the continuity of life. Respect! I would wish to see a lot of them again in the next year.

Hydro electricity would be a great way to go in Iceland, but then there is so much geothermal activity on the Island that I suppose it doesn't matter how you do it. Energy is abundant in this part of the world, from natural renewable sources. This is one of millions of waterfalls on this island. In fact after visiting Iceland all other waterfalls have paled in comparison. It the type of place to go if you love waterfalls as there are so many that most in the backcountry go unmarked unless they are monstrous. This is an unmarked waterfall in the backcountry. Many of the most beautiful places in Iceland require a jeep capable of being submerged around 3 feet deep in a river. Some places more. I have a new found respect for the capabilities of modern automobiles after visiting this place.

This wiry fence is doing its best to keep people from falling off the cliff overlooking a local waterfall. You can just make out the top of the falls in the background. However, the fence itself is not one I would trust to hold me if I lean on it. It is definitely up to people to respect the boundaries and take caution. We love all the snowshoeing we have been doing this month as we continue to get fresh snowfalls everyday. On this day, the snow was so wet, it was a challenge to keep our gear dry. Happy Fence Friday!

Well. maybe not a great photo, but I ran into this Raccoon the day before Earth Day, and it gave me pause. Why are these animals so hated? And hated by us humans because the have the nerve to eat our garbage. Just a reminder we created the garbage not the raccoon who is simply trying to live just like we are. Most animals have walked this earth far longer than we have, and we need to learn to respect our elders.

Share the Earth, Care for the Earth, Earth Day is everyday!
