This is a picture from the bridge of my Resonator guitar. I have been using it for some slide parts in some new songs of mine. It sounds a bit like a Dobro if anyone knows what that is.

Happy Macro Mondays

I saw light showing on ripples in the water, caused by an insect. I thought it was a skimmer at the time, but later saw that it was a bee, likely waterlogged. Such interesting patterns in the water, and I really hope that it got away!

---The Sound of Silence---

Rarely bump into it, I just experienced once...

This song struck a resonance with me. Made me think of all the changes that has occurred in 2020. This is to those who have lost loved ones, to those still struggling and let us not forget... Kindess is all that matters in the end.

✈️ : Missing Melody

If I could tell the world just one thing

It would be that we're all ok

And not to worry because worry is wasteful

And useless in times like these

I will not be made useless

I won't be idled with despair

I will gather myself around my faith

For light does the darkness most fear

My hands are small, I know,

But they're not yours they are my own

But they're not yours they are my own

And I am never broken

Poverty stole your golden shoes

But it didn't steal your laughter

And heartache came to visit me

But i knew it wasn't ever after

We will fight, not out of spite

For someone must stand up for what's right

Cause where there's a man who has no voice

There ours shall go singing

Taken just a couple of minutes after sunrise, during those few moments when sky colors change every second through a subtle pallet.

It is amazing how far we have come with technology. This photo was taken handheld at 70mm and a 2 second shutter. A shot such as this would have not even been possible a few years ago... I can only imagine what the future holds...

I was walking my dog a few days ago when I happened upon a front garden of apartment blocks, there in amongst the varying plants and flowers was this immaculate young Crocus, it was perfect in its display and appearance, unfortunately there was very little Sunlight to be had and in trying to get the overhead shot was creating an uneven shadow, so thus the flash came in handy whilst trying to avoid an over exposure and loosing detail. Hence I pout up my aperture f stop values to enhance depth of field, this was one of those, "to flash or not flash" moments, but it came out well, I think.

I hope everyone had a great weekend and so as always, thank you! :)

I have wanted to capture an image like this for a while now; a few cold winter mornings later and I finally got one!

Violets and bluebells,

You can almost hear them ringing,

Shiranuta Swamp, Higashiizu-cho, Shizuoka. This is not a very well-known place. Although it takes only 10 to 15 minutes from the trailhead, not many people visit it.

Moreover, some people say this swamp is haunted. They say 16 prisoners were killed here during WWII.

I arrived at the trailhead a little before six. Though day had already broken, the trail was still dim. I crossed the twisted bridge, which seemed to be damaged by landslide and suddenly the swamp appeared.

There was no one as expected. All I was able to hear were croaks and sometimes tweets. As I was shooting, I became a little frightened.

The swamp is also known as a habitat for “forest green tree frog”. I didn’t see any of the frogs themselves, but a lot of foam balls hanging from tree branches, into which the frogs laid their eggs.

After all, I saw nothing strange. It seems that I don’t have anything like sixth sense.
