Our rescue cat that used to live with me but was adopted by my elder son and his partner so that I can visit my granddaughter more often. I go and look after him when they go away.
This a rescue cat in The Alley Cat Cafe in Stratford, Ontario. About seven rescue cats (up for adoption) are kept in a separate room next to the seating area of the cafe. One can pay about $6 a half hour to go in and visit the cats.
A place where you can cuddle with resident cats and foster cats from local rescues while enjoying a coffee and a treat!
A win-win for everyone. The nice thing is that they have an escape route for the cats if they get tired of all the attention.
or unhappy with your subject it will show up in the pictures :-)

Stella is our rescue cat. We don’t know much about the first four years of her life. She was taken by her previous owners to the vet to be killed, because she was being bullied by their other cats. Fortunately the vet refused and took her to an animal rescue centre. From there to us. She’s a most uncat-like cat in some ways. She doesn’t climb, hunt or go out at night. She does like to follow us and join in with whatever we are doing. Taken with the iPhone and processed on Snapseed.
