Just checking if the my package of expired film had some liquid spots after suspecting it in my last fomapan development. But no, that was not the answer. A bit underexposed though and the negative could easily have taken more time in the developer. I forgot that D23 is a slightly speed reducing developer when due to laziness I chose to expose both Portra 160 (other camera) and Fomapan @125.

Donau / A516 is a Type 404 Elbe class replenishment ship of the German Navy.They were built to support its squadrons of Fast Attack Craft, submarines and minesweeper/hunters, as such they are usually referred to as tenders.
The ships carry fuel, fresh water, food, ammunition and other matériel. They also have a medical station aboard but doctors are not part of their standard complement and will have to be flown in. The tender also manage waste disposal for the ships they support at sea and can carry out minor repairs of assigned ships. For this purpose Elbe class tenders assigned to FAC squadrons, for example, carry the SUG repair and support shop specialized for these boats on their deck in a set of 13 standard containers.

Activity around the stern of the USS George H. W. Bush - CVN-77 - Stokes Bay 27/05/2011.
With some 5,000 personnel and an Air Wing embarked comprising some Fifty Five aircraft she was undergoing replenishment from various vessels seen here alongside. With such resources to maintain - one can only imagine the amount of Aviation Fuel and provisions needed to sustain them all for several weeks at a time. Being Nuclear driven I suppose thats one item they don't need delivering!
The Blue and White ferry was acting as a crew transfer to shore for much needed R & R.
With at least three Police Launches in attendance and the well-armed guards (under the white Gazebos on deck) a watchful eye was being kept on all who approached!
