The light picks out the details and patterns of hosta leaves in the Sunken Garden in Wiscasset, near the coast of Maine.
Colourful brollies sold in Fethiye...where I guess they don't need them too often. But it made a nice sun-screen over the street!

There’s a lot of repetition going on here! From the repeating squares of the quilt to the many owl’s on Junie’s dress. I decided to use the owl print as a border also. 😀😀💕💕
These aluminium discs are covering the Selfridge Building in Birmingham. I love the patterns that I can get by photographing
it close up.
For more views of this fascinating building have a look at this set.

It's always encouraging to me when I discover that somebody has taken the time to check out a photo or two (or three or more).
As much as I wish I easily could, I'm not always able to reply to comments and thoughts that you've been kind enough to send in my direction. Please know that I appreciate all of your messages and also your faves.
If you happen to see something that you like and decide to "star" it, consider me genuinely grateful.
I have been kinda busy raising 13 monarchs in a tent. Here in GA we get very few passing by. This year I've only seen three. However, we found caterpillars, tiny tiny ones, on a milkweed plant we have. We had a tent ready just for this. That was Aug 9. Today the last of our original 13 eclosed. We have 10 viable now. Will release probably tomorrow or Thursday. This one, unfortunately, didn't make it. Not a clue why. Nothing obvious shows on him.

This is the inside of the blimp hangar. this pattern runs from however high the walls are to about 192 feet at the top of the arched roof and 1,072 feet in length, 296 ft wide. It is a huge pattern. To covers over 7 acres.( Looks a little crooked up and down--I straightened it L to R.)
Alas - I did have a moment of weakness and couldn't resist making this pun.
