Printed at 297 x 420mm for 594 x 841mm mounting.

Working with MP3 files meant that I was able to insert multiple MP3 files onto Adobe Audition creating overlapping sound waves. Looking at different ways of presenting the sound waves led me to viewing these files on a spectral frequency display; this gave the images an infrared quality. Editing this display allowed me to manipulate the image in order to create repeat patterns; moving forward to experiment in terms of colour and the intensity of the waves.

Repeat pattern created with watercolour and fineliner and assembled in Photoshop made within a workshop on my Foundation course.
