Yesterday was an awesome day for me ! First it poured with rain.Then I noticed that the sea was dancing...This is a three-minute walk from my workplace !That's how I can take so many shots though I'm awfully busy all the time !I was so happy to find all this moving beauty! The sun playing hide&seek and casting silver hue upon the waves from time to time..the brisk air filling my lungs..the strong wind forcing me back...the playful waves splashing over the boardwalk...
all so breathtaking !!
Yeeeet, one of them played a practical trick on me...Splassssshhhhh !! And there I was ..all wet from knees to toes !People around started to laugh at me in astonishment..I answered back saying ''I couldn't care less''.I was so happy with lines whispering into my ears from a book I read long long ago,by Andre Gide !That was life! Life that Flickr brought me back into !We started to laugh altogether...We were happy altogether ! What a nice feeling it was !
I kept on taking shots !For at least half an hour ! Then I realized that I had to change clothes ! But how ? I could
either go home and come back for my private coaching or buy new ones! I opted for the latter !Bought a cheap pair of shoes asap as my boots were awfully wet !Then I bought some sportswear as it was cheaper and quicker ..but the trousers needed shortening and they had nothing but pins..So they used pins..OMG,I looked so silly ! That was more than I could bear..I found a tailor to shorten them..tried to persuade her to do it immediately.At last I was ready..but my student ,who has to travel for about two hours from his hometown to Izmir ,had left..To sum up ,these shots cost me a small fortune :))What's more,I had to do my evening classes in sportswear as if going jogging :-))

Beni çok mutlu eden, çok canlı bir rüzgarın beni ittiği ve ciğerlerime dolduğu,güneşin denizle oynaştığı,dalgalara gümüş renkler fırlattığı bir ortamda dalgaların birinin oyununa geldim ve dizden aşağı sırılsıklam oldum!Herkes bana gülmeye başladı..Ben de onlara hiç umurumda olmadğını söyledim.Herşeye razıydım o an !Sonra hep birlikte gülüşmeye başladık .Çok mutlu anlardı !En aşağı yarım saat de çekimi sürdürdüm !
Gelgelelim botlarımın içine kadar sırılsıklamdım ve ya eve gidip üstbaş değiştirecektim ya da dışarıdan birşeyler alıp derse devam..İkincisini seçtim.Önce derhal ucuz bir çift
ayakkabı ,sonra da eşofman türü birşeyler aldım.ama pantolon kısmını kısaltacak malzemeleri yoktu.Toplu iğneyle paçalarımı kıvırdılar ancak o kadar aptalca duruyordum ki bir terzi bulmak zorunda kaldım !Sonunda işim bittiğinde Akhisar'dan İzmir'de benim yanıma gelene kadar yaklaşık iki saatlik yol yapan öğrencim de evine gitmek üzere ayrılmıştı..Eh.bu çekimlerin bana toplam maliyeti esaslı oldu :-))
Üstelik akşam derslerimi de koşu kıyafeti içinde yapmak zorunda kaldım !

Taken on 26 March.
There was a double rainbow in the literally black sky!! This photo is manipulated, but only to show the colours more distinctly. I had the 50mm lens on when I noticed the rainbow, but I had no time to change the lenses. So, I just made the shot and did this on the computer.
And, no, the grey and white spots on the photo are not dirt on my lens, but drops of rain :-)

Answer to filter or lens: Sigma 10-20 does that effect when the
aperture is low. The lower it is, the more sun star effect.
Last time so many people thought my moon was a sun so I had to put my Sun Star too.

At Mediterranean & Aegean; olive is gold.
It's a CULTURE.
A culture only who lives it, will fully understand the beauty and importance..
We love Olive's in every way.
We wake up and look at them with love.
We eat the fruit with love.
We love the juice (olive oil)..
And love to understand the quality, the differences of taste in each kind.
Each way the olives are made, have a different taste.
It has to be made right. Not in the jars people buy at markets.
The Olive Oil has to be gold, light, fresh...
If you drink it, you'll think it's water.. That light.
We love to talk about olives.
I miss the tree all winter, and can't wait to see it again.
To dip my bread in the olive juice.
To wake up and say good morning with a smile:)

Bizim Mustafa Aksekili sokağa gelmişti bir arkadaşıyla. Saçlarındaki renkleri görünce izin istedim çekmek için, Sağolsun verdi. Sordum yayınlamamın sakıncası var mı diye yok dedi. Üniversitede öğrenciymiş Ezgi Fırtına. Koyu kahverengi gözlerinde hafif bir hüzün de olsa umarım yaşamın saçların kadar renkli ve güzel olur dedim gitti.
