Since I cannot open Picnik anymore for some weird reason, I made the frame around the wisdom myself. I hope you like it! :-)
Correction: I finally managed to open Picnik again, so I added the Vignette effect, too :-)

Fe II] Emisyonlu NGC 6302
NGC 6302 with [Fe II] Emission
New observations from 2019 (Prop 15953/Joel Kastner) reveal [Fe II] emission, shown here in pink, along the edges of the biopolar outflows of this young planetary nebula. I created this image specifically to clearly detail this discovery, deliberately arranging filters and assigning colors that would draw one's eyes to the new emission line data.
Hat tip to Judy Schmidt @geckzilla for his original idea of removing the stars in the [Fe II] data.
This image from the NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope depicts NGC 6302, commonly known as the Butterfly Nebula. NGC 6302 lies within our Milky Way galaxy, roughly 3800 light-years away in the constellation of Scorpius. The glowing gas was once the star's outer layers, but has been expelled over about 2200 years.
