Old Renewable Energy...
While driving through north central Ontario, we drove by a lot of farms where the history of farming was overshadowed by the tall white wind turbines. part of the Ontario renewable energy solution, it was nice to see a relic from the past where the old style renewable energy didn't cost millions to erect and maintain.
Take a note Ontario Conservatives this is the way of the future. take a long hard look back at the past.

Sunset over Burbo Bank Windfarm and the neighbouring windfarms off the Welsh coast in the Irish Sea, taken from the sandbanks off New Brighton during the ebbing tide.
TWO ICM images to add to the set that I created last week. I know that these type of images have a Marmite effect with photographers and originally they weren't for me but having tried the technique and finding it quite challenging then maybe after all I do like Marmite :-)

a sunset that reveals more than just colors: the coexistence of clean and dirty energy, captured in a moment between day and night.

There’re so many things I could do with my camera if I only knew how! 😂
During my holiday in Brittany I came across these wind turbines. I’m always very impressed by these structures that convert wind power into electrical energy and contrary to many people I don’t find them ugly, a little scary maybe, but very useful. These wind farms are an important source of renewable energy and inspired me to take a picture of them.
I have to admit that I’m not exactly a technical genius and therefore I still haven’t figured out what all the buttons on my camera are good for. Anyway, I hope you’ll enjoy my little experiment. 😁
Where engineering meets poetry: Grønvollfoss Power Plant stands quietly by the Tinnåa river, its dam mirrored in a glass-like surface. Morning mist drapes the hills, softening the industrial lines into a serene composition. This hydroelectric station is part of Norway’s renewable energy backbone, harnessing the power of water to light up homes while preserving the harmony of nature.
Fun Fact
Grønvollfoss kraftverk was commissioned in 1933 and remains an important hydroelectric facility in Telemark. Norway generates over 90% of its electricity from hydropower, making scenes like this a symbol of sustainable energy.
