Dedicated to my lovely wife!

This is one that I always wanted to do...

It's my first go at it and so there are a few things that I would like to improve, e.g. the lighting.

Frequently, while at the office or out of town, I find (to my dismay) that I need to access files on my desktop computer at home. The inevitable results are special trips and wasted time. While I could leave my desktop on indefinitely and access files remotely as, the inordinate amount of electricity that it consumes literally doubles my electric bill. With the help of an Arduino, I've solved the problem for good, for the cost of about 3 months of running my desktop all day.

Series of screenshots exploring tools for iPad that make the lives of IT professionals and systems managers easier....

So far the iPad is a great device for media consumers.

It's kind of a bust for work/biz/productivity apps so far.

Right now it's shaping up to be an excellent sysadmin tool...

Today I was working and all on a sudden my desktop remind me the movie "inception".

I was on a Mac and was using a remote desktop connection to connect a "Windows PC", then from that PC I used another remote desktop connection to connect a "Windows Web Server". Also 100s of tabs were open in the few different browsers and few windows were minimized.

So, it was like going from a dream to another dream.

Alcohol 120% 2.0.3.6890

Those who are searching for a CD/DVD burning and emulation software application are certainly aware that their choices essentially come back all the way down to only a handful of applications, every of them with its very own sturdy points. Alcohol 120th is one of such...

まあ、そんな感じで、いくつか試した中で、WakeOnLan(Dirk Lembens作)がいい感じでした。

I'm currently trying out the Windows Vista Beta 2 from Microsoft. As the minimum requirements officially include 15 GB HD space, 1 GHz processor and 512 MB RAM, I thought I'd try running it on my PDA phone, which has 32 MB combined memory/disk and a 0.233 GHz processor. I can actually check email with it, over my 19200 bps modem connection :)

This was done by logging into my home box through Terminal Services Client.
