Minister Chow witnessed how the van is set up to process driver’s licenses and BCID cards. He also learned about the van’s security features that have been added to protect people’s privacy.
The mobile service centre serves as a one-stop-shop, offering over 300 government services directly to people where they live. The van will be especially crucial during emergencies like wildfires or flooding, where the van can be deployed to provide essential support to people. The new mobile service centre connects people to the assistance they need when they need it most.
