I just want to relax and watch some TV. It would be nice if I had the time to do that, even still Prudence at the cable (it not longer works) and the remote has no buttons haha oh well, it just wasn't meant to be!
I set up a remote camera today for the Lisburn v Crusaders match. I used a D300 and fired it with a pocket wizard. I fitted a wide lens at first then changed up to a 24-70mm to give me a bit more reach. I got a couple of shots, but nothing amazing, It really is luck with this set up.
Hmmm.... which remote control goes with which device.....

Playing with my new toy. Got a ML-3 in the mail today and just had to try it out.

on the TV show Remote Control, there was something called "snack break" - Ken would announce that it was time for a snack break and a bucket of potato chips would be dumped onto each contestant...well, the board game version also had a "snack break". at one point during the game, Brandy announced that it was a snack break, and that the game instructions were for the contestants to grab the nearest piece of food and throw it at the host! luckily for Brandy, the nearest piece of food for all of us was a bowl of gumdrops that was on the coffee table. so, we all threw gumdrops at her. any board game that encourages the throwing of food is awesome in my book.
Summer's cat decided to take a snack break of his own and started to eat out of someone's unguarded snack plate...

In the remote areas of Nepal, electricity infrastructures are highly vulnerable to impacts of climate change. With support from Japan, UNDP Nepal and partners have restored 14 micro hydro plants previously destroyed by flash floods, lighting up the lives of 70,000 off-grid residents. In addition to bringing steady supply of electricity to the community, the micro hydro plants will help cut carbon emissions by 45,000 tonnes in the next 15 years.

While hiking deep within a valley, I was startled to hear what sounded like someone talking. I looked around and spotted this troglodyte hideout which is inhabited. It begs the question- what is the most remote and difficult to reach still-inhabited cave-home in Cappadocia?

Stopped by the remote controlled airfield for short time for the first time in quite a while. A friend of mine was flying a few of the 31 planes he owns. Only got photos of 2 of them while there, the first two red ones and the last six photos here. Fun watching how skillful these pilots are doing aerial maneuvers, takeoffs and landings. I always send any photos I take for them to post on their club site. Sorry for so many photos, just saving to my album. :-)
