This remote is the award for working at TiVo for five years. The only one you can get one of these remotes is to work at TiVo for Five years. There are none of these remotes on e-bay
I started at TiVo in Sept 1999. It took me a little more then five years to get this remote. When they started giving out this remove it was my goal to get one. I am happy I finally got my five year remote.
flickrpedia: This is really an icon for the last five years of my working life. At 33 I have been in the real working world for 10 years. TiVo is the first place where I have had real works success.

This is obviously the remote office of the one who created Kauai! After creating such grandeur one would obviously want to visit regularly!

The remote control for the fan/air conditioner at our hotel room in Tokyo. I never did figure it out... (Good thing Naomi reads Japanese...)
This was my first try at a remote camera set up other than basketball shots someone else set up for me. I still have a few more pieces awaiting arrival in the mail, but I have all of my Pocket Wizards, remote shutter cords and flashes.

This is the first Strobist shot I've ever done so please give me ideas! I think I should have used a Honl Grid on the flash to narrow the beam for one thing. Possibly a second flash behind me for a rimlight?
Not sure if I chose the right gel for the shot, but I am colorblind so I was kind of winging it!

Taken in a Japanese strolling garden that symbolizes the sister-city relationship between Mishawaka, Indiana and Shiojiri City, Nagano Prefecture, Japan. The bronze sculpture of two American and two Japanese children was designed by Hidekazu Yokozawa and dedicated in 1992. Funny thing that even my System Profiler recognise the IR module, my remote doesn't seems to work. Lucky I remember there's an option to disable/enable the IR under system preferences...
Just uncheck the disable IR under Security. And you are good to go.

Much more interesting was a informal chat with mostly students in the Engineering College (with a smattering of old technogeeks like myself...I had an Apple IIe in the early '80s). 'Woz' was much more comfortable in front of a smaller, techie crowd.
