It was just past the ideal time for a picture; I tried walking fast, but the sun was only hitting the top of this historic building. It's okay, though, it's a pretty neat place.

And... remember the Alamo!

All you that do this place pass bye

Remember death for you must dye

As you are now then so was I

And as I am so that you be

A Day To Remember dropped by in Pulp Store, Manchester to meet some fans before their Eastpak Antidote Manchester Event.

Got a quick photo of them with a snowman prop in store, which they then signed.

Matty at the flight 93 Memorial. A poigniant visit - Matty was a flight attendant when a group of everyday heroes wrestled control of flight 93 from terrorists, and plunged it into this field before it could reach its intended target. (He was of course not on the flight, no-one survived, but the events of that day signalled the moment the entire profession changed forever)

The Journey back toward the town....

Brendon Michaels, a longtime co-worker and friend, was killed last week at his home in Baltimore. He was loved by everyone and one of the nicest people you'd ever meet. A terrible thing. This is one memorial at work set up by the faculty, staff, and students who knew him.

What the Body Does Not Remember

Northern Stage, Newcastle

17 – 18 March 2015

Wim Vandekeybus’ first piece of choreography balances on the razor edge of attraction and repulsion. Dancers are driven to act and react at high speed and with split second timing, to each other, and the music. Moments of humour thread through explosions of aggression, fear and danger in this adrenaline-fuelled distinctly physical performance.

What we choose to remember says more about us than about what we are remembering.
