I've decided that I want to do a small series of diptychs that embody one word. I want them to look like they could be good wall hangings in a nice and quaint little home. I'm really liking the simplicity that I'm feeling by working on this project :)

This is the second in the series that I've finished. I feel like everyone needs a good amount of time to relax in their lives; get away from the hustle and bustle, and just enjoy some solitude. Relaxing not only calms the body, but it calms the mind. I encourage you to try and find some things in life that are relaxing to you and simply go and do them. It can be reading a good book, laying out in the sunshine, or curling up next to a loved one to watch a good movie. There are so many good things in life that we so often miss; we just have to take the time to relax and find them.

娘のお気に入りの帽子のイメージで、いちごを散らし、かわいい糸をぐるぐる巻きにしてみました。

ペーパーの端っこもすごく可愛かったので、２枚重ねて娘の年齢あたりをブラッズで止めて再利用しています。

斜めストライプのペーパーはEcho Parkです。柔らかい色合いがNeapolitanにぴったりでとても気に入りました。
