This photo was taken on one of my better days of Summer. It seemed like everything was going alright, I had found a new great friend in Boston and started talking to a great girl back home. I was able to manage my social life and my work life very well and was starting to smile on a daily basis. Cammie and I were driving around in my car during a storm where we parked near an abandoned house to just relax, we decided to take this photo together. As I stopped to admire the day, she snuck in my car and drove off taunting me.
I don't think I ever ran so hard in my life as other cars were chasing us. I don't think I ever ran that hard...
I took this shot of my wife, at the top of High Force as we basked in the glorious sun. This was not posed, just shot as she sat enjoying the scene, relaxing to the sound of the thundering force a few feet away. In moments like these it is always a shame to leave and make the walk back to Low Force.

I do hope you're not getting tired of seeing these falls - as through 24 years I've not yet managed to get bored of standing in that spot... it's a lovely place to be during school time when you can relax with it being nice and quiet and spend time to work out any new ways of composing it.
I've been especially luck recently watching the fish (apparently not salmon?) jumping up as I've been photographing them.
