Crept out of our accommodation at 7am whilst staying at Bognor Regis. Sun only visible for five minutes before disappearing into cloud.

We went on early morning photowalk around Lyme Regis after catching the sunrise at the Cobb. The light was pretty good as were the reflections. The white blob off to the right is Charmouth which has some stunning cliffs
I can highly recommend a bakers in the centre of town which sells some very tasty Cornish Pasties.

Beyond the Cobb harbour is the beautiful seaside town of Lyme Regis in Dorset. This is surrounded by unstable land and cliffs, and as a result development has been severely limited. There have been numerous cliff falls, especially to the east of the town, and these invariably uncover a new treasure trove of fossils - something Lyme Regis is particularly renowned for.
The Vigadó Restaurant was built in 1826, based on the plans of Ferenc Povolny. A
originally served as a bathhouse. In the 1800s
from the late 1800s until the 1970s, it also had a terrace, which was later
later closed. In 2003 the terrace of the Vigadó was restored to its original state.
