Bending down to slake my thirst from the River Wye in Derbyshire during a 5 day hike through the Peak District.
More contest fun at SYWBPP! The idea was to take a self-portrait of what you do while waiting for the announcement of winners for the awesome contests they host.
I'm a morning person, and being that most of the announcements happen laaaatte at night, many PDT, I'm usually half asleep! But I alternate that with being on pins and needles....refresh....refresh....refresh.
I know it's cliché, but if the opportunity presents itself, it has to be done.

I took out my litle pentax water proof digi cam on the weekend. I was down in a little town called Binningup and I was very desperate to get some waves... with the use of my handy dandy mini malibu, i was able to score a few tiny little waves. With my best friend marieke, there was lots of fun to be had.
Beaches close at dark. As the sun was setting this guy closed up his little cooler full of beverages poured the ice water over his head to cool down.
Have a restful weekend and may you be refreshed for the coming week!
Still looking for some New York City ideas for our trip if anyone has any.
"Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your ways to him and he will do this: He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun."

This project called for a logo "refresh" where we wanted to maintain some brand equity while giving the mark a new look.
I really like the amount of detail in the Fleur de Lis (FdL), so I didn't change its shape at all.
I did change it from being part of a "building" to being part of a fence post. The ministry is in New Orleans, so both the FdL and the fence/gate/balcony post were culturally appropriate.
The wordmark changed from "typed" Myriad to varying weight and caps of Warnock Pro.
I did keep the same purple as secondary color.
This is an early draft, not yet shown to the client. I wanted your feedback first.
