This is a common refrain by me. I seem to attract bad weather when I go on holidays. Rain, floods, storms, gale force winds...
I was disappointed when we went out on the boat and it was pouring rain. Despite the rain I surprisingly captured on of my favourite images. I love the raindrops falling around the Azure Kingfisher and beading on its feathers .
In the end we did have to come back to dock but at least I got a few keepers.

November Rain - Guns N' Roses.♥
During our visit with Andy in March, he took us to St Bee's Headwalk that lead to Fleswick Cove. We started merrily on our way without food or water, with Andy's optimistic refrain "it's just over that ridge". Two hours later we reached the cove and it was amazing...of course we were hungry and thirsty and facing an equally long walk back. Mark loves to give him endless grief about it...:-)))
However, it was an amazing walk and we came away with the most treasured images and memories.
