This is a reflection of a few buildings in the Rolex building glass. The glass is alternately highlighted by a polarization effect- the splotchiness on some of the panels. The effect is also visible on car windows when you wear polarized sunglasses- the coating on the glass polarizes reflected and refracted light, thus becoming visible when another polarizer is brought into the picture.
Took this through a chain link fence and they were quite a distance away from me!!! It was a cloudy day ~~with no wind~~ but that makes for better reflections in the water!!!
If you rotated this shot it would look the same LOL!!! Best viewed large!!!!
