This is an area known as Docklands in Melbourne. Not sure why the cone-shaped caps on all the posts. Perhaps to keep birds from landing on them.

Went for a little re-edit of an old photo today. It has always been one of my favourites. I loved the reflection coming back, especially with the green of the trees. Felt it summed up the nervous excitement one feels before getting married and the green symbolised a natural unity.
This morning when I looked out of the window, I saw the reflection of these car's in the parking lot, and it was raining. I grabbed my camera ran out onto the deck, and shot this in the rain. I have a hood over the lens, so it was OK.
The second of three shots from the mornings shoot at Loch Tulla. I went from finally getting the last upload, and went down to the shore to take advantage of the reflections.
I managed to catch the last of the light that was hitting the clouds and at the same time, the hills in the distance being lit. Next, I went to the trees on the left and put together a big panoramic shot which should turn out really nice.

Week 1 (30.12. - 5.1.) : Capture a Reflection in an Unexpected Surface
- Look for unconventional reflective surfaces (e.g., metal, glass, puddles).
- Experiment with angles to create interesting distortions.
- Focus on the interplay between the reflection and the surrounding environment.
