This was a wonderful day of fun and frolics with old friends and new, in one of the most incredible buildings. We were like big kids in a gigantic playground... who could ask for more. NPR 5535 its tied down and idling northwest of Thief River Falls west of Dakota Junction - perfect placement for a reflection photo. The train's location was just the right distance from the Pennington 74 - 120th Ave grade crossing. I am also glad that this unit was the leader as it still has its original bell and not one of the electronic bells outfitted on many of the other SD60Fs on the Northern Plains roster.

The clouds aligned for another amazing sunset over the weekend. Just a day before a cold front brought snow to areas just north of here. This time I went out to Lakeside Park nearby where we live.

 

It was also the final day I shot with the rental Fuji XT4 I was trying out.
