"Julep Crystal"
NOTE 2: Fixed the image to represent the Julep color better. It now matches the previous image I linked in Note 1. Apologies for the mis-representation. It's very hard to color correct and give the viewer a proper presentation of the colors.
NOTE 1: I havent looked at the picture since I posted it, but I have to fix the color a little. It looks a little too minty. I kinda rushed it and didnt try hard enough to color correct it. It should look like this
Had to bring these out this weekend. It's such a stunning color in real life. Oh, and this fountain is just collecting garbage. I guess they are waiting until the Summer to turn it on. Feel sorry for the person who has to clean it. lol!
Here's the profile image of my design.

These iD's had to come out for Easter. Originally didn't like them, but they grew on me over time. The Julep hue is so damn nice. So nice, I have another 3 designs coming with this color.

Yes, I'm liking these. More of an appreciation for the quality of the shoe. May not be 'A Made in England NB', but its still damn good.

Here's another image of the previous without flash. It gives you an idea of what the 3m look likes in the shade.
I call this one Hot Dash and just like my Mid-Night Rose iD, I put it up on my blog with a detailed look.

Taking pictures of ducks and turtles oh my! This is a park near my home. I always called it 80th street park because that's what everybody called it since it starts on 80th street. Today I found out it is called "North Hudson Park". Also, people fish here for trout. Kinda scary considering how dirty this water is.

I was in the 'East Village', NYC to go to the 'Self Edge' Denim store that just opened up here. On my way back I visited the finished "Os Gemeos Mural Dedicated to Dash Snow" on Houston street. I took a few pictures and I'm in the process of trying to do something unique with them. I will post up a writing on it in my blog and than post the pictures here. I will put up one photograph up for now. Stay tuned.

In the back of my yard chilln'.
Found these on the sale rack awhile back. I really like the display of colors on them. I seem to get a lot of looks at my feet every time I were them. Kinda wish I doubled on these. I wish the laces weren't so long. I call them my Adidas "Starburst". You know, the candy Starburst. The red yellow and blue remind me of the candy for some reason. They have a nice fit and are very comfy.

The quality of this came out rather bad. i tried to fix it as much as I could. It is what it is. I'll have to re-visit this again on the next puddle.

Such a nice color-way on these. That full Teal color looks great with dark denim. I turned so many heads with these on today in the West/East Village. Goes to show that people still don't get the sneaker game. Here's a hint to everyone...."Simplicity Wins, Not Hype"
Denim: Edwin ED-47 "Broken Twill" which is a softer raw denim.

"Julep Crystal"
Color Corrected (it still has a slight yellow tint due to my fluorescent lights in my room.
Colors Used: Julep. Black and White.
NOTE: Had to re-order these because of a few stains in the toe box area and they had really bad toe-boxes.
I've always been a fan of the Nike SB Mid Dunk Sea Crystal. It's such a nice color that pops. Unfortunately, I never picked them up because I kept buying other shoes. Luckily, the Nike iD AM1 has a color option by the name of Julep. It almost identical to that color of the SB. So, I designed this AM1 off that shoe.
It came out looking so great to a lot of shoe fans, that many are taking up my idea and are making them for themselves. This is a very flattering jesture. Enjoy everyone! Time to double up!

Forgot I took this picture, with others, at Central Park last week when it was nice. my lady in the background playing with a stick in the water. Don't ask...Too bad it's getting colder now and shorts are a no, no. Good bye summer days...
Don't know about this picture yet. I may change it again.

Normally I would not have posted this here. I have a few rules (is that too geeky?). I like to get the whole shoe in the photo. Meaning everything. The full tongue and make sure the second foot is somewhat visible in the photo. I don't like cut offs anywhere on my shots. I made an exception with this one because I like the way it came out.
Loving this shoe. 2nd next to the Prestos in comfort. But, never the less, one great runner/trainer to say the least.

CHECK MATE! These are my Nike Jordan IV "Bred" inspired AM1 iDs called "J4 Bred". I have a soft spot for that shoe so it made sense to draw inspiration from it and create this iD. I also took reference from an existence AM1 iD from fellow ISS member, CRISUNO. He made a similar make-up when the AM1 iD was available in 2007. The difference between mine and his are: He has a suede swoosh, he used Hot Red for the out-sole, has black laces, his heel Nike emblem is grey and it has a red air unit.
I wanted to switch it up a bit and re-mixed mine with a 3M swoosh, Beet Red out-sole, Nike heel emblem is Beet Red, White Laces with Red aglets and my air unit is silver. Unfortunately you can not customize the air unit this time around. At least not yet. If it was possible I would have made it White to complete the design. That's why I added the White laces. I needed some white in there and so I took the laces from my Patta AM1 "Navy Denim & Cords" and added them. Think it works very well.
I'm on top of a marble Chess Table. I will be trying to find these type of tables throughout the year and do the same type of image. Should be fun trying to find them in NYC and NJ...
The denim is Edwin EC-77 Akita Grey Slim Fit that I just got from Henri Beene in the UK. I like the fit a lot. Now if they only made the Rainbow Selvedge in this fit....

This is my very first iD. I may order another one of these before they pull the AM1 off Nike iD. I will change one thing though and that is to do away with the splatter.

Took this picture specifically for the 100th post on the WDYWT ISS (solecollector.com) thread. It's about time we make it! It's also the end to the Patta 5 year anniversary shoe release. Now on to their next two releases. The New Balance one and another I can't mention just yet.

Here's the 2 iconic pigeon logos, in embroidery, on the heel. Real nice detailing on them. Check the original size of the image to see up close.
Forgot to post this. Check out my article at theshoegame.com/articles/new-balance-575-white-pigeon-rel... for the release and detailed images of the shoe.

Colors Used: Club Purple, Stadium Green, Black and White
Just got these in and I'm very happy with the turn out. It originally came with black laces, but looked too dark in that area. I added the white to the break up the colors off the black mesh and tongue. I also made the emblem white as opposed the making it Stadium Green. I think it adds a nicer contrast to the area.
I want to flip the Stadium Green to Beet Red on another pair. It's very tempting. It'll have to wait, as I have a few other designs I want to do first.
...and for lack of a better name, Purpeen is Purple and Green mixed together to form that word.

Here is a quick photo of my current AM1 iD collection so far. There are 13 shoes in the image with another 5 being delivered; Two more next week and the other 3 next month. Tht'as a total of 18. I'm shooting for 31 pairs...
So far, Im VERY happy with my collection. It would be hard for me to even pick my top 5 or top 3 right now. I will have a post soon on my site explaining the thought process for each one of my recent arrivals. VagrantSneaker.com

Been wearing these for the last few days. I was always a fan of the Nike Air Structure Triax 91 "Infrared" colorway, just not a fan of the flimsy toe box. So when this shoe appeared with that c/w, I was excited. If you would like see a small review and detailed pics, visit me at Vagrant Life

A better shot of the pigeons on the back. Doesn't matter that this was a Staple, limited or regular release. I would have bought it anyway. Don't get me wrong. The branding is nice, my 20+ camping effort and writing the article helped. In the end though, I'm very happy with my purchase no matter what.

UPDATE 10,08,09: I replaced the photo today with a new logo I'm working on. The graphic in the back is the infinity sign slightly warped and broken into 2 ends. This represents me, as I infinitely wander the streets with my shoes taking photographs. The ca
mera is a silhouette of what I use in real life. The last piece is the highlight AG which happens to be my initials. For now it's a work in progress as I'm sure it will change.
I got real lucky on getting one of these. They only had 18 at the store and 250 world wide (232 were allocated for online).
Such a nice shoe! Materials are spot on and the c/w is just killa. I love red shoes. One of the best releases these year.

[#1 of 4 shoes in the series] This color-way: 256 pairs worldwide.
So how was I able to get a pair of these TZ Patta's that were only available in-store, at Patta in Amsterdam? On any normal day I would share my news and findings with everyone as I normally do. In this scenario though, I will have to keep my mouth sealed. Let's just say. "Luck was on my side that day. I was at the right place at the right time"....and yes I paid retail; $110.
Loving the color, materials and this has the best shape of any recent AM1. I personally prefer these over the "Green Denim", though I 'm still looking forward to the release of that color-way and possibly the 'Blue Denim' which release next week.
Denim that I need to replace right away. Only wore it for the picture. I wasn't going to stain these with raw denim.

Here's an almost side profile, for a better look of the shoe. I will order another pair of these for sure. I like them too much. Just such a clean look. I can't wait for my NB x Solebox "Nazar Eye" inspired ones. Similar color-up, but with out the orange (black suede swoosh) and just a Julep Nike Emblem in the back.
Maybe I' ll wait to see how the Team Orange suede looks like first. Hopefully it will not be too different, where as it may throw off the out-sole color of Total Orange.

I was going to wait a little before I UN-DS these, but it was a such a nice weekend in NYC. So much hype around this shoe, that it's unreal. I would' ve never thought it would get like this. Especially the eBay prices. It is a nice shoe, with nice materials, but not worth the current entry prices what-so-ever. If you bought one at the current prices, you just bought hype!

These were inspired by the New Balance x Solebox 1500 "Nazar Eye". Yes, I don't have the gummy sole or the hint of green on the side but, I like this, if you will, generic look. Looking forward to wearing these in the summer.

Put these on today in this gloomy weather. I'll say that the shape of these are not great. My AM iD's have a better one. It is what it is. I still like them. The canvas material makes it all worth it to me.
I will thread slowly in these also. Since it does have a canvas toebox, you will get wrinkles fast. To prevent it, I added the Force Fields product to prevent the cracking. Though I'm not a fan of the product, it worked some what. I'll just have to wear these on occasion.
Here you GreG. ;)

Here's a couple of more shots. I felt like taking a few pictures since I've been wearing so many Nike's. I figure it was time to get away from the swoosh and pay attention to my other brands.

Shopping around the East Village for my girls BDAY gifts, I came across this kool car by Citroën. Decide to take a pic with it. I was wasn't the only one either. I know a lot of folks hate on it, but I REALLY like this Patta Air Max 1. The materials are sick! Denim, Corduroy, Suede and a Perf Nubuck toe box. <- What other recent shoe can you even compare it too??? ummmmmm....... I'm considering getting a second pair.

The Original 577 color-way retroed. I really like this model. I took forever to take a picture of them, considering I've worn them quite a few times already. Looking forward to the 577 "Berlin Wall" Pack which has been delayed until January. BTW, if you do plan on getting a 577 model of any sorts, Berlin Wall or SNS RGB packs, I highly recommend you go half a size down from what you normally wear (like Nike footwear).
New denim that feels REAL nice on my legs. I was just looking for some unwashed grey denim and came across these Naked & Famous jeans. I didn't want to mess up some of my light shoes with my raw denim, so this Grey denim gives me the opportunity to wear them without worry.
I thought the cashmere was a gimmick, but it does feel real nice when you walk. You feel the soft cotton rubbing on your legs. ...and this was my one and only Black Friday Sale pick up.
