I met Anne in Perth today to browse for Christmas gifts. I came up empty, but I did buy this for myself when we went back to Fremantle.
I have plenty of canvas bags for supermarket shopping. However I was still having to use those little plastic bags for quantities of fruits and vegetables. I have been wondering for a long time what I could use as an alternative and this is perfect. Inside this tiny little parachute pouch are 4 lightweight, washable, mesh, drawstring bags. The orange pouch comes with a small carabiner so that it can be clipped onto other shopping bags or a purse.
I think it's a really good idea because it will cut down on my plastic use substantially.

*Update: FIFTEEN and 1/2 YEARS LATER (!!!), I'm still using these and they're still in perfect condition. I can't even imagine how many disposable plastic bags this has prevented from entering the environment during that time; thousands, I'm sure.
