May I interest you in a cup of floral tea?
Busy day today. I didn't get home until 7:30 and didn't get a chance to take a photo throughout the day so I settled for some (overpriced) flowers from the grocery store. While putting the groceries away, this tea pot caught my eye and I decided to incorporate it into my photo :)
Hope you've all had lovely days. Friday tomorrow!

* I made this notebook cover out of cotton fabrics and cardboard. I also used fleece, to pad the outside, embroidery fabric, embroidery thread and a piece of ribbon.
* Ik heb deze notitieblokhouder gemaakt van katoenen stofjes en karton. Daarnaast heb ik fleece gebruikt, als zachte tussenlaag voor de buitenkant, borduurstof, borduurgaren en een stukje lint.

Potter Bradley Birkhimer has achieved a rich elegance in this beautiful earthen green with red specks of flashing on this beautiful teapot. Great conversations start with a good cup and better company.

Giselle loves to entertain the Golly brothers. This afternoon she has prepared a delicious berry tart to go with their favourite Earl Grey tea. It promises to be a very enjoyable occasion.

I spent most of the day out at my grandmother's house with my brother and my parents, sorting through things and cleaning more in the basement and a few closets. It's tough work, and dirty, too, especially in the basement which is full of dust. I brought more things home than I intended, but I couldn't resist this little red teapot.
I spent nearly all day making sweet potato and carrot pierogies. I put a recipe together myself, and inbetween feedings, diaper changes, laundry, dishes, texts and phone calls... I actually cooked them!
I ran away to Paris for the day on Monday ... busy times with my first photography workshop client. I fell in love with this red pot in Monmartre, Paris while my client was falling in love with her Canon EOS 50D.
A traditional Japanese teapot, kyūsu, is commonly used for making Japanese green tea, sencha. It often has a handle on the side of the pot.

This whimsical plush Doormouse in a teapot was inspired by Alice in Wonderland and measures 7 inches tall and 8 inches wide. The red teapot was sewn by hand from felt and decorated with yellow and orange felt flowers which are glued and sewn to the teapot. The Doormouse was sewn by hand from gray felt with a pink nose and black seed beads for eyes. He's wearing the lid of the teapot as a hat.

Ok it isn’t a painting, but a fun bit of photography art and a bit of mischief on my part.
On visiting the Bristol Museum, I had a pot of tea, then spotted an opportunity for a bit of citizen art. So before anyone spotted me, the nearby lion statue was wearing a tea pot crown. Oooo I wonder who dun that?
Just thought I’d share it with you.
