I have been to Buttermere many times and Ive only seen it this calm twice, the last time I saw it like this it was misty, so I really hit on lucky this day, it was like a mirror. The sun had started to go down but it was still a pretty harsh light.
Taken at sunrise at Derwentwater, there was no clouds in the sky but there was a veil of mist everywhere and the sun gave it a beautiful pink glow as it rose!
Took My good friend Jonathan down to Chemical Beach at Seaham as He had never shot the wheels before, beautiful sunny day so broke out the B+W 6 stop.

A typical fish market that's part of an overall wet market in the port city of Legazpi, Philippines.
Went out for sunrise this morning with My big Bro jimbri378 who hasn't been out with His camera for ages, We decided on Blyth as there was plenty to shoot and He had not done Blyth beach before. We were treated to a fantastic sunrise, it really was on fire this morning, and what do you know, as soon as we hit the beach I spotted this branch so of course the polite thing to do was drag it to the waters edge and take its photo LOL!!
There was also a few good lads scattered up the coast so be sure to check out their shots from this morning:
Jim Brightwell at Blyth with Me.
Ed Bookless was up at Newbiggin.
Allan England and Phil Whittaker were at Tynemouth.
And Simon Lowe was at St Mary's.
Decided to have a look down Chemical Beach tonight for sunset, turned out to be a good one, treated to a beautiful pink sky. Nice to catch up with Gary Emerson again too.

A typical forest view in the beautiful Padley Gorge, Derbyshire. The forest here is populated by lots of tree species, but notably Sessive Oaks, which grow into twisted moss-covered shapes. It almost looks prehistoric.
Sunrise at St Mary's Island this morning, clear sky but some nice colour and some beautiful side lighting. Went up with Ivor who arrived with a tripod but left with a duopod!!! Time to get that Redsnapper mate!!

Had a good night out with Ivor Miller up at Whitburn. Bumped into another Flickr tog, Karen who it was a pleasure to meet. Check out their streams:
The bright green seaweed covered rocks contrasting against the golden sunlight cast on the cliffs as the sun dropped at Saltwick Bay.
Row of stones lying in the sand at Saltwick Bay, got some nice colour in the sky at sunset.
Black Nab sits in the distance.
Spent the morning catching a brilliant sunrise with Dale down at Hawthorn Hive. Stayed up after doing a nightshift but it was more than worth it! This shot was taken as the sun rose between the clouds.
