Red sky over the polders in Uitkerke, Blankenberge, Belgium
I was trying to photograph a few owls that were chasing mice when the sky turned red at sunset.
More than grateful!.One of the most beatiful sunrises I have seen in my life. Soul reset! Thank you God!
"Hope when you take that jump,
you don't fear the fall.
Hope when the water rises,
you built a wall.
Hope when the crowd screams out,
it's screaming your name.
Hope if everybody runs,
you choose to stay.
Hope that you fall in love
and it hurts so bad.
The only way you can know
you give it all you have.
And I hope that you don't suffer
but take the pain.
Hope when the moment comes you'll say
I, I did it all
I, I did it all
I owned every second that this world could give,
I saw so many places
the things that I did.
Yeah, with every broken bone
I swear, I lived..."

From the old adage "Red sky at night, sailor's delight. Red sky in morning, sailor's warning."

'Why be a copy, when you were born an original'
This was taken before the valley shot I posted yesterday. I was very glad of the positioning of those trees!
So having thought of a corny title I would like to thank everyone for your friendship and support during 2022 (and way before).
Still posting on Insta and dabbling on Vero however this will always remain my favourite place to share my photos.
Signing off 2022 with one of those crazy sunsets at Mudeford, probably my most geo-tagged location. I am lucky to have this location so near.
Happy New Year and wishing everyone a fabulous 2023. (It just needs to stop raining:)

A silhouette of Whitby Abbey with a fantastic sky as a backdrop. The black dot to the right of the Abbey was a "drone" with an annoying high pitched buzz.
Winter Solstice day last year was a frosty winter delight and I've realised that I only shared one image from it so here's another.
It's been a great year out with my camera, although challenging in other ways!
Thank you all for the friendship, humour and support.
Wherever you are, have a wonderful sparkly Christmas!

As I climbed over the shingles to get down to the beach beyond, the sky looked like it was on fire.
The added bonus of the low tide gave the opportunity for a reflected glow on the wet sand, giving double the pleasure.
I had to rush, as the sky was changing by the minute, as the dawn greeted the day.
The colour has not been enhanced and was as I saw it.

On Saturday morning I enjoyed a beautiful sunrise at Boscombe Pier.
A nice easy location only half the sand from this beach is still on my kitchen floor despite my best efforts!
KASE 2 stop grad used for semi wave movement.
A lovely sunset behind my wee local lochan - nice now all the fishing boats are back out of storage.
Following on from my post earlier in the week this is how the sunset developed. The best of the sky wasn't over the pier itself but it was still lovely. It would have worked well if I had gone for the classic view with the tower, maybe next time. Thats what I love about that location, lots of possibilities!
I hope everyone has a great weekend x
