Portrait taken at the annual Desert Festival of Jaisalmer, held at the Sam Sand Dunes in the Thar desert. The festival is a three-day event, organized to attract local and overseas tourists interested in exploring the rich and colorful heritage of Rajasthan and its folk culture. Nomads also trek across the desert to sell woven goods, silver jewelry and black-market items at the bazaar. This festival is an amazing way to discover the colorful local culture against an impressive desert backdrop.
