One of my favorite places to visit - Red Rock Canyon near Las Vegas. Love the dusting of snow on the mountain tops.

Red Rock Canyon in Waterton National Park (Alberta, Canada) is a beautiful place even on a non-stop rainy day like this day.

With the water coming down the mountains the waterfalls and streams turn into dangerous places if you are not careful.

Last night my friend Derryl and I went to Red Rock to experiment with light and what we got was a spectacular view of a storm brewing all around us. It is very tricky to compose a shot in nearly total darkness. This was a long exposure with Derryl painting a little light on the front rocks with an led panel. Minimal editing.
