A workshop organized by the Religious Studies Department, Armacost Library, MSGIS and CSS, with funding from the Wabash Center

This drawing was based of an older drawing I drew several years ago. One of my favorite hobbies is redrawing old pictures and changing things about them to turn them into new/improved/better pieces. He wields a spear, is masked, and has armor only on one leg.

When I was like in the middle of this one, I've got my hands on new pencil set. I also used a different blending technique. It was a disaster. I ended up basically redrawing whole thing. It was kind of fun though. You can tell the difference by looking at the character in the middle. I left it as it was at the beggining for future reference. I'm planning to work more on technic rather than content in the near future.

On the left is the 400% redrawn logging truck; on the right the elements reduced to 25% of this and back to their original size in the drawing.

By enlarging, redrawing and reducing, much finer details can be created in the drawings.

Redrawing the model in different areas of the page, created with pencil.

These are just my sketches scanned in for the critique today. But I plan on redrawing them on the computer, then being able to easily change the colors and try out different ideas.

Story has it that the Canada:US border goes right down the middle of the little bridge ... Wonder if they need a passport to mow the lawns on the small island? And if they have to pay rates in Canada and the US? Common sense would call for a redrawing of the border .... but ...

This Proposition press conference didn’t really fit on this week’s Republican page or last week’s

Democratic page - since both major parties dislike the Citizens Redistricting Commission. Here is David Pacheco, president of the California AARP, speaking out against Prop. 27, which would do away with the

commission tasked with redrawing the district lines for our state legislature. Prop. 20 would expand their role to also drawing Congressional districts.
