Smile on Saturday - Red Hearts
From the archives. I had made a DIY heart bokeh lens filter, and had little holiday lights behind the wine glass. For Smile on Saturday I went with a Ribbet Duo tone filter to turn the hearts red. It's a little messy with the hearts "bleeding" into the reflections. ; )
Happy Smile on Saturday! : )

Smile on Saturday: "Red Hearts"
Thank you very much for your kind comments and visit, much appreciated!
I figure if you can’t beat ‘em , join ‘em. Valentines Day wasn’t a big thing in Australia when I was young, It’s still a bit 50/50. I know it’s big in USA and maybe Europe ? So’s , many of the theme-based groups have a “hearts” theme so thought I’d try and get into the spirit.
I’m thinking there is a song title in this pic, maybe ….. all you need is cards 😉
Happy nearly Valentine’s Day all you lovers and dreamers.
Smile on Saturday chose Red Hearts for their theme today which prompted me for another song title. Thank you Smile on Saturday.

For Smile on Saturday - red hearts
I had to go through the scrapbooking bins here to find something to shoot. I knew I would find something.
Smile on Saturday
Another project out of the freezer, i.e. a red heart in an ice cube, the blue background, motion blur and texture applied in PS. I started this project a long time ago, but when I read the theme for this Saturday, I dug it out and completed it. It didn't look quite as crazy before the overhaul :)
Love is all around 💞
For the Saturday Smile topic: "red hearts"

Cliché and Smile on Saturday: Here
I had to revert to my frogs again for the Smile on Saturday theme "Red Hearts". This is the only red heart I could find apart from the tiny crystal hearts. :) HSoS !

For the group, "Smile on Saturday," and this Saturday's theme (February 11, 2023): "Red Hearts."
Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!
Well, what a mess I made with these! I forget quite how quickly ice melts - or how slowly I work. I thought it might be a good idea to freeze some red food colouring in some small heart moulds, but they melted far too fast and the little heart I froze in an ice cube rose to the surface and appeared too quickly. So this was my attempt at red heart for "Smile on Saturday".
My attempt at the "Smile on Saturday" theme "red hearts".
