Hi Reddit! My husband and I are traveling to Italy for our honeymoon and would love your itinerary critiques/suggestions. Here’s our plan so far:May 19- arrive in Rome at 9:30amMay 20- maybe historical sites?May 21- maybe Vatican? dinner at La PergolaMay 22- wandering the city?May 23- rent car and drive to Chainti We are thinking about stopping in Civita di Bagnoregio and driving through the Val d'OrciaMay 24-28- pretty open but thinking day trips to Florence and Siena, visiting local farms/wineriesMay 29- drive to La Spezia (park the car for two days) and take the ferry to Monterosso al Mare, hike to our B&B in CornigliaMay 30- exploring Cinque TerreMay 31- take the train back to La Spezia, pick up the car, drive to Venice (thinking about a lunch stop in Bologna), drop the car off at Marco Polo Airport and take the ferry to our apartment on Venice. Thinking about walking to San Marco that evening.June 1- VeniceJune 2- leave from Venice at 10amWe seriously geek out over food, so any restaurant, agrotourism, etc suggestion is welcomed. I also love hiking and photography, so if you know of beautiful walks/hikes and spots to take photos I’d love to hear them! I’ve been to Rome (at age 16, so will be a different experience now 16 years later) but my husband hasn’t and is interested in Roman history. Thanks for your ideas! via /r/travel bit.ly/2GLJb99
