Stinging Nettle Slug Caterpillar (Cup Moth, Setora sp., Limacodidae)
When not threatened, the Setora Limacodid caterpillars keep their battery of stinging spines tucked neatly away like the bristles of a wet calligraphy brush.
The slightest disturbance (even as little as a gentle touch of the leaf it is on) galvanises the caterpillar into alert mode and the unfurling of it's stinging spines.

Four US Marine Corps Boeing F/A-18C Hornets from VMFA-232 'Red Devils' seen overhead RAF Lakenheath as they 'run and break' to land during their long transit from 'hotter' climes - home to California.
Already there were six more which arrived with their KC-130J Hercules support aircraft during last weekend.
Various factors denied the first half-dozen's escape from these shores on Monday including Atlantic Storm systems and an apparent recalcintrant USAF KC-10 tanker!

Ce sont des virtuoses. Aux commandes, ils fendent l’air, glissent et s’élancent dans les airs. Ils enchaînent les manœuvres, les vrilles, les loopings et les tonneaux. Leur show se regarde comme une danse, c’est un ballet.
A failed chute nearly caused disaster for the world renowned Red Devils Parachute team at Whitehaven Festival Air Display. Fortunately, cool thinking and skill meant that the pair landed safely in the deep water of Queen's dock which had been designated an emergency landing zone. A few metres either way and they would have hit the boats or a nearby fun fair.

I had built a version of the right panel a few years back, but let it go at an art show. I built the left panel a few months ago as a "freehand" attempt to recapture the first one.
Then I just used a photo of the right panel to rebuild it (with some variations)
The center panel was pretty much just a whim. Could probably stand a re-work.
Hinges took a bit, not 100% happy with them either. But the work is a functional display now.
Christmas is here and we want to wish everyone that supports OGlam an excellent and happy holidays.
OGlam has grown so much since last Christmas, and it is not just because of us, but because of you all that have supported our academy, mall and agency .
Nothing is possible without love, charity, and compassion. We have shared so much during the year and this amazing feeling makes us different and unique, but also human. We know that OGlam exists because you all want it to succeed, your overwhelming support makes us so happy to share in a world where anything is possible.
The season is about counting our blessings and we are so very thankful for the joy you've shared with us! We wish you the most Happy Holidays and New Year!
