(This is a night time spotting. Many varieties of Limacodid larvae fluoresce under a blacklight (ultraviolet), making them exceptionally easy to spot on nocturnal photography missions with a handheld UV torch. Once located, I switch to my lens-mounted LED ring light and flash for illumination.)

Samuel Sorenson Adams' world was filled with tricks, jokes and magic. Some of his creations are rubber chocolates, the dribble glass and snake can. His unusual company, known worldwide as S. S. Adams, has plied its trade in pranks and tricks since 1906.

Cincinnati & Lake Erie "Red Devil" lightweight high-speed interurban car 123 (Cincinnati Car Co., 1930) and some older wooden cars, out of service at Moraine Shops. The 123 was awaiting shipment to a new home c1938. Scan of a print in my collection, photographer unknown.
